Shipping Information
Free Ground Shipping - US and
Territories
| Kooter pays for standard ground shipping in the United States. The price shown for your item is the cost including standard shipping. In general, 'Free Ground Shipping' shipping means United States mail service. Depending on the package weight and distance, we use First Class mail, Priority Mail, and Parcel Post classes. Field books are sent by Media Mail class. Some heavy weight orders or business address packages might be sent by FedEx ground. We usually ship the next business day after the order is placed. Most packages will arrive within 4 - 9 business days after they are shipped, but can take longer. High-value packages usually require a signature for delivery. |
Priority Mail Upgrade - US and
Territories
| You can upgrade US shipments to Priority Mail class for $3.00. We recommend this option for anyone who wants a good chance to receive their order within about a week of ordering. It is also recommended for packages being sent to Armed Forces addresses. Priority Mail is especially valuable for books, because the standard Media Mail class can sometimes take much longer than expected. Priority Mail often arrives within 2 to 4 business days from the day we shipped, but it is not a guaranteed delivery time. If you need guaranteed delivery time, the only options are FedEx Express. As with all shipping, high value packages will usually require a signature for delivery. |
Fed Ex Express - 48 States only
| For most small orders, those
under 5 pounds, we can ship by FedEx Air
for a flat upgrade charge. Second Day Air is
$15.00 extra. These flat rate
applies only for packages 5 pounds or less, to the US 48
states. For Alaska, Hawaii, or large packages,
we will quote the actual shipping charge before processing. FedEx Express packages with high values will require a signature for delivery unless you have made arrangements with us before shipping. Keep in mind that Express packages are usually shipped the next business day after your order is received. So, "2nd Day Air" orders placed on Monday or Tuesday will usually arrive before the end of the week. But orders placed on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday will not arrive until the following week. Also, during peak shipping seasons, 2nd Day service is not guaranteed. |
Other and International Shipping
| Use this option for heavy 48 state air, or any Alaska, Hawaii. Sorry, we are not able to ship outside the USA except to APO and FPO military addresses. |
Privacy Policy
| We do not gather any personal information for any purpose other than filling your order. We do not generate, use, share, or maintain mailing lists of any kind. We do not provide your order information to anyone except when requested by your credit card company. |

Satisfaction Guarantee
| If you are unsatisfied with any item from Kooter's, return it within 30 days for a full refund. You do not need to obtain return authorization in advance. Simply return it to us by Priority Mail, or ground delivery by FedEx or UPS, and we will refund your return shipping. If you request, we will arrange for pick up of the package at the delivery location. |
