Hastings triplet measuring magnifiers are used with accessory reticle scales for precision industrial or scientific measurement of flat objects or surfaces such as radiograph images.  The Hastings triplet magnifier bodies are available in 7x or 10x magnification.  Four reticle measuring scales cover a range of linear and angular measurements.  Made by Bausch & Lomb.

These precision industrial measuring magnifiers are used to make critical measurements of flat objects which can be brought into contact with the measuring reticle.  Hastings triplet magnifier has screw thread focus.  Clear acrylic body allows for proper illumination.  Accessory reticle measuring scales screw onto bottom of the body.  Includes storage case which can hold magnifier and optional reticles.

Bausch and Lomb Reticle Scales for Measuring Magnifer 

Measuring reticle scales use "Photo Metallic" patterns.   Screw thread fits either the 7x or 10x measuring magnifier body.
  • 81-34-38 Metric scale measures 20 mm in 0.1 mm intervals
  • 81-34-37 Inch scale measures 0.75" in 0.005" intervals
  • 81-34-36 General purpose scale measures radii from 1/16" to 3/8", angles in single degrees to 90 degrees, 0.005" and 0.1 mm scales, and line widths of 0.001", 0.002" and 0.003"
  • 81-34-39 Protractor scale measures 360 degrees in single degrees
